Famous Italian deli Eusebi brings its sweet treats to Bonnie & Wild

Famous Italian deli Eusebi is the latest amazing food business to join us at Bonnie & Wild, bringing a delicious array of sweet treats including cornetti, pastries, cakes, and other classic Italian desserts.

Established in 1954, Eusebi is one of Glasgow’s best known Italian restaurants, inspired by generations of Southern Italian food culture and renowned for its warm hospitality and freshly made pasta, seasonal dining and pastries, with a focus on high quality local sourcing. Now, after several decade building her Eusebi business, owner Giovanna Eusebi is bringing her iconic brand to Edinburgh, with a new opening at Bonnie & Wild.

From fresh pasta made daily and Roman sourdough baking, to pastries and desserts crafted by its dedicated bakery team, every part of the business is guided by the same philosophy: exceptional ingredients, treated with care and shared generously.

The menu will feature crema and pistachio cornetti, handmade pastries and classic Italian desserts alongside seasonal cakes inspired by Scotland’s produce – bringing together the best of Italian tradition and Scottish ingredients. Signature favourites include Eusebi’s much-loved strawberry tarts, made using Scottish fruit, alongside classic Italian dolci designed to be enjoyed with coffee, shared with family or taken home after a meal. All products will be made from scratch and by hand by Eusebi’s dedicated bakery team and delivered daily to Bonnie & Wild.

The line-up means that we’ve got three brilliant concessions – Eusebi, Chulo’s and Joelato - serving up sweet treats to guests at Bonnie & Wild, with all three offering sit-in and takeaway options.

Born in Italy. Made in Scotland. Enjoyed in Edinburgh.

Giovanna said: “The new Eusebi offering at Bonnie & Wild marks a new chapter of the Eusebi story. For guests to Bonnie & Wild, this is an exciting opportunity to experience the bakery, craftsmanship and everyday Italian rituals that have been at the heart of Eusebi’s success since we first started trading several decades ago.

“The collaboration with Bonnie & Wild, with their focus on sustainable sourcing, high quality produce and passion for family-friendly hospitality are all ingredients that we found difficult to resist and I’m really excited about joining Bonnie & Wild’s iconic Scottish Marketplace.

“For us, this is about much more than what’s in the counter. It’s about sharing the everyday rituals we grew up with in Italy, the morning cornetto, the espresso at the counter, the tiramisu shared with family and friends. These are the simple moments that sit at the heart of Italian hospitality, and we’re excited to be bringing them to Edinburgh.”

Ryan Barrie, Bonnie & Wild’s Managing Director, said: “Eusebi Deli is one of Scotland’s most loved Italian institutions. It’s an amazing business run by brilliant people who are passionate about the products they make and sell, and the warm Italian hospitality they provide. I think Eusebi are a perfect fit for Bonnie & Wild, complementing the amazing line-up we’ve curated with our new arrivals Flùr pizza and Julie Lin’s Tacos Lah, which only opened last month. I think the depth and breadth of the menus on offer at Bonnie & Wild means we truly showcase the incredible range of food and drink produced in Scotland – something we can all be proud of.”

The Eusebi Bakery at Bonnie & Wild joins an award-winning line-up of incredible Scottish chefs and food and drink businesses, including BBC TV chef Julie Lin’s Tacos Lah, National Chef of Scotland Gary Maclean’s Creel Caught and Soup & Caboodle, Burger Awards Champion Nick Watkins’s El Perro Negro, TV chef Jimmy Lee’s Salt & Chilli Oriental and Leith Woks, Ivan Stein’s Chooks and Flùr Pizza and Pasta, and Shehan Fernando and Suki Jayaratne’s Sri Lankan kitchen Kochchi.
