Mango Magic! Thistly Cross launch and Joelato collaboration

Thistly Cross Cider and Joelato have today unveiled their Mango Cider Specials, with the amazing new cider to be distributed nationally from next month. 

It’s the first fruit cider release since 2020 from Thistly Cross, who are renowned for their range of delicious ciders, ranging from Traditional and Scottish Fruits to Strawberry and Elderflower, and even a Whisky Cask cider. 

And the Mango Cider launch is the latest in a series of collaborations from Joelato, who are renowned for the seasonal gelato and sorbet made from local produce. 

The launch is part of a month-long collaboration between Bonnie & Wild and Thistly Cross that saw the cidery take over the bar at the popular Scottish Marketplace and offer guests a bespoke list of cider-infused cocktails. Many of the kitchens at Bonnie & Wild also got in on the act and put on cider-inspired menu specials, including Creel Caught, Kochchi, Chooks and El Perro Negro. 

As soon as Joe Sykes of Joelato got his hands on the new Thistly Cross flavour he was keen to try out a new sorbet, creating it in time for Thistly Cross's new Mango Cider product launch.

Thistly Cross Mango Cider is available from the Thistly Cross Cider Bar at Bonnie & Wild until the end of the month. Joelato’s mango cider sorbet is available until this weekend or until stocks run out!
