Battle of the Chefs 2025: Winner revealed!
A big congratulations to Suki Jayaratne and Shehan Fernando for winning the 2025 Battle of the Chefs at Bonnie & Wild!
On Sunday, the Kochchi chefs took on the ultimate challenge, putting their chef skills against the likes of Gary Maclean, Nic Watkins, Ivan Stein and Jimmy Lee.
In front of 80 guests, the six chefs each took turns hosting a 15-minute cooking demo, before their kitchens served up the delicious dishes to an eager audience.
With Gary also comparing, and all the chefs stirring things up with cheeky cooking tips and light-hearted heckles, the event was a superb way to showcase the styles of each chef, giving everyone a flavour of what their kitchens at Bonnie & Wild offers.
After the cook-off, guests to Battle of the Chefs 2025 were invited to vote on the tastiest dishes and best presented dish, before voting for their own top chef, with Kochchi's Suki and Shehan carving out a well deserved place at the top spot.
