We’ve a sweet treat in store for you over the February half-term as Chulo's Stuffed Cookies opens up a pop-up shop at Bonnie & Wild over the holidays.
Kids and sweet-toothed guests will be delighted by the epic cookies that Chulo's are rightly famous for, having built up a giant reputation for their sweets over the past few years.
Opening this Friday, Chulo's will take over the space round from our gelateria Joelato serving up their stuffed cookies all weekend and into next week, including Valentine’s and this Saturday's Six Nationals match when Scotland’s National team take on Ireland at Murrayfield.
Chulo's cookie offer complements our expansive dessert offer that’s perfect for families, including Joelato, pancake house Stack & Still and sweet pastries and cakes from Cairngorm. And across the Food Hall, mums and dads (and grandparents, uncles, aunties, cousins, etc) can enjoy the unrivalled range of family friendly options including burgers from El Perro Negro, pizzas from east PIZZAS, fried chicken from CHOOKS, and a range of sandwiches and other tasty treats from Soup & Caboodle.
Launched from their home during the Covid lockdown, Chulo's opened their first site in Glasgow’s trendy Finnieston in 2021 before opening a second bakery in Edinburgh’s Stockbridge last year. A regular at farmers markets and food festivals, Chulo's owners Jordan and Rebecca Rankin have built up a loyal following of sweet-toothed cookie lovers … and when you get to grips with their epic cookies you’ll see why!!
Jordan said: We’ve been on an incredible journey since launching Chulo's in 2021 – this pop-up is the next exciting step for us as we bring our legendary stuffed cookies to Bonnie & Wild and the St James Quarter. We’ve built up a wonderful and loyal following since launching so hopefully we can convert a few more during our holiday pop-up at Bonnie & Wild!”
Chulo's residency at Bonnie & Wild runs this Friday 9th February until Sunday, February 18th.
