About Hollie Davidson
Hollie Davidson is one of the most accomplished and respected rugby referees in the world. Contracted with the Scottish Rugby Union, she has officiated at the very highest levels of the game — from Olympic Games and Rugby World Cup finals to the Six Nations and the sport’s premier club competitions.
Hollie has refereed two Rugby World Cup finals, making her one of only a handful of officials ever to achieve that distinction. She has taken charge of Springboks and All Blacks tests, European finals, and the Men’s Six Nations. In doing so, she has broken barriers and set records that have reshaped the landscape of rugby officiating. In 2025, she was presented with the World Rugby Referee Award, one of the most prestigious honours in the game, and inducted into the Scottish Rugby Hall of Fame.
A former scrum-half, Davidson brings a player’s deep understanding of the game to every performance. She is known for her calm authority, clear communication, and ability to manage the most intense international environments with composure and confidence.
