Visiting Edinburgh for the rugby? Try the line-out at Bonnie & Wild this autumn!
We’re big fans of Scotland at Bonnie & Wild, and while our focus is always on Scotland’s champion food and drink, we do tend to find ourselves distracted whenever our national teams are competing. So we’re fair looking forward to Scotland take on Australia, Fiji, New Zealand and Argentina for a series of rugby internationals at Murrayfield this autumn.

Kicking off with Australia on October 29th, then Fiji on November 5th , New Zealand on November 13th and closing with Argentina on November 19th, we’ll be supporting Scotland through every throw, maul, scrum and kick.
And for all you Australian, Argentinian, Fijian and New Zealander fans (and everyone else!), you’ll receive nothing but the warmest of welcomes at our Scottish Food Hall (Ok, and maybe a wee bit of friendly banter, too!).
And it’s not just lip service, either. Scotland internationalists Greg Laidlaw and Jamie Ritchie, who has just been named captain, are big fans of Bonnie & Wild, and we’ve been proud to host both the men’s and women’s teams for events, as well as some individual members, such as Gavin Hastings, for private dinners and functions. So who knows ... there’s every chance one of Scotland’s internationalists may just be propping up the bar on your next visit!
If you haven’t been to Bonnie & Wild before, you can enjoy Scottish seafood from Creel Caught, Hong Kong street food from Salt & Chilli Oriental, the UK’s best burgers from El Perro Negro, local heroes east PIZZAS, award-winning Sri Lankan street food from Kochchi, Scotland’s best ice cream at Joelato, Chinese fine dining (with a Scottish twistt) from Leith Woks, pancake powerhouse Stack & Still, Scottish deli Soup & Caboodle (coming soon!), incredible coffee and cakes from Cairngorm Coffee, and even a boutique bottleshop by Inverarity Morton that boats an incredible line-up of some stellar wines and Scotch whiskies and gins to take away with you. And then there’s the superb range of Scottish whiskies and beers on sale at our bar. So plenty to cheer about regardless of the final scoreline!
