Models, fashion designers and Champagne! Join us for Bonnie & Style
We are super excited to be taking part in the fabulous Edinburgh STYLE at ST James Quarter later this month, and looking forward to welcoming Scotland’s leading model agency and top fashion designer Siobhan Mackenzie to our Food Hall for a series of events.
Over the last two weekends of March (Sat 22 & Sun 23, and Fri 28 & Sat 29), we’ll be welcoming Scotland’s leading modelling agency Colours for a series of special scouting days. Talent spotters will be on the lookout for potential models who could also gain the opportunity to walk in a prestigious runway show hosted by Grazia at St James Quarter on Saturday March 29! Potential models will also have the chance to meet with Colours Agency’s top scouts, gain insights into the industry, and potentially secure contracts with the prestigious agency.
Following on from the Colours Agency talent scouting, Scottish fashion designer Siobhan Mackenzie is hosting a VIP Champagne brunch on Sunday, March 30, followed by an exclusive “In Conversation with” Q&A event, hosted by radio presenter Jennifer Reoch and featuring an exhibition of many of Siobhan’s designs.
Siobhan, whose clients range from Scotland’s National Commonwealth team to musicians Justin Bieber and Shania Twain and Scottish Hollywood Star Alan Cumming, will host the Bonnie & Wild Q&A with guests having the chance to quiz her on her illustrious career, from her days as a teenager sketching outfits to more recent successes including her career breakthrough and dressing the stars.
Our partnership with Bonnie & Wild is a game-changer. Scotland is full of incredible talent, and by teaming up with a cultural hotspot like Bonnie & Wild, we’re creating a unique and accessible space where aspiring models can take their first steps towards an exciting career. Bonnie & Wild, known for celebrating Scotland’s rich food and cultural scene, provides an inspiring backdrop for this initiative. The collaboration aligns with both brands’ commitment to showcasing local talent and supporting creative industries in Scotland.
I’m really excited about hosting this Champagne brunch and Q&A at Bonnie & Wild as part of Edinburgh STYLE at St James Quarter. As well as a glass of Champagne, guests to this free event will be able to talk with me about fashion design in the beautiful events space at Bonnie & Wild, while also enjoying their fabulous hospitality. It’s such a beautiful space and I’m really looking forward to exhibiting my designs there too.
These two events with the leading Colours Agency and Siobhan Mackenzie, one of the country’s best fashion designers – beautifully typify Bonnie & Wild’s collaborative and dynamic approach to showcasing the best of Scotland. We’re looking forward to welcoming guests to St James Quarter’s Edinburgh STYLE weekend, in particular the Siobhan Mackenzie talks and Colours Agency scouting weekend. It’s set to be a real feast of fashion.
Edinburgh STYLE is a city-wide celebration of fashion, beauty and lifestyle. Alongside the events at Bonnie & Wild, from Friday March 28 to Sunday March 30, St James Quarter will play host to a weekend of style talks, beauty masterclasses, live entertainment and fashion shows in partnership with Grazia and Pat McGrath Labs.
