Christmas at Bonnie & Wild Unwrapped!

For those of you who like their Christmas traditional, look no further Creel Caught who’ve branched out from Scottish seafood to serve up a Traditional Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings. Absolute classic, cooked to perfection. 

Meanwhile Chooks have unveiled their iconic Chooks Christmas Special Chicken Sandwich, created with Chooks fried chicken thigh, cheese slice, stuffing, Christmas spiced mayo, and cranberry hot honey. 

Next door at El Perro Negro, they’re doing a Braised Beef Bun, with pickled shallots, marrow gravy and swiss cheese (shoutout also to their new breakfast menu available every weekend!). 

east PIZZAS have put a twist on festive fare with their tasty Christmas Special Pizza, made with with pancetta, sprouts, ricotta base, mozzarella and cranberry sauce.

Kochchi have added a Cheese & Caramelised Onion Roti Melt with Spiced Cranberry Sauce to their Sri Lankan menu. Made with folded roti and melted cheese, spiced caramelised onions, and a drizzle of Kochchi’s festive homemade cranberry sauce. This should be a staple at every Christmas dinner!

Soup & Caboodle have put on a Merry Affettati sandwich, made with parma ham, garlic mayo, rocket and parmesan. 

And meanwhile Stack & Still have a huge offer of sweet and savoury Christmas treats, with a Roast Turkey Pancake Stack, Veggie Festive Stack,Hot Maple Pigs in Blankets and portions of Festive Fries and Tots. On the sweet side, they’ve added an After-Eight Stack and a Festive Freddo Stack to their expansive menu!

Sticking with the sweet, Joelato are serving up Sticky Toffee Pudding alongside their seasonal gelato – you’re going to struggle to choose which flavour have with it!

As well as Mulled Thistly Cross Cider, Illy Caffe are serving up Amaretto Latte, Black Forest Hot Chocolate, Cherry and White Chocolate Matcha, and Mulled Apple Juice. And on top of that they have an ever-changing offer of locally produced seasonal pastries.

And last but certainly not least is Chulo’s Stuffed Cookies. They have quite the seasonal menu, and these can of course be packaged up to takeaway, making great Christmas presents! This week they have Three Wise Mint, next week Nutcracker, the week after it’s Quality Street The Purple One (Limited Gift Boxes Available I’m told), and for Christmas week it’ll be a combo of all three. 

From our bars, as well as our new cocktail list, we’re also serving glasses of Champagne for £10 – a perfect lift-me-up after a spot of shopping!

The Perfect Events Space 

With one of the city’s best events space, our private dining room and Tryst bar are pretty much fully booked throughout December, though we do have a handful of dates where we do still have availability. 

We’re also now taking reservations for larger groups in our marketplace from 9.30pm! Perfect for those of you wanting to continue the celebrations into the night. Email our events team for more info!

What We've Got Going On This Month

Saturday December 13 & Sunday December 14 - Carol singing and live music, approx 12-2pm.  

Tuesday December 16th - Love Actually screening – get in the festive mood while we play this modern Christmas classic on our big screen. Popcorn, mulled wine, cocktails and more. 

Thursday 18th – White Christmas Heather Club – It’s our last ceilidh of the year, but the big question is whether Santa’s going to make an appearance! Dancing starts from 8pm. Book your ticket here! 

Tues 23rd - It's A Wonderful Life – Come and spend an evening at Bonnie & Wild, and watch how Clarence gets his wings as George Bailey and family discover the meaning of Christmas in the ultimate feelgood film.
