We are recruiting for several new posts for our Food Hall in Edinburgh’s new St James Quarter, due to open this summer.
Bonnie & Wild will comprise eight food stalls, three speciality retailers, a patisserie and three bars that will show off the “best of Scotland’s larder”. It will also include an events space, private dining, demo kitchen and children’s creche.
The jobs, currently advertised on https://www.edinburghfuse.com/jobs, list an Assistant Manager and a Bar Manager, with roles for front of house to follow in the next few weeks.
Our Head of Operations Ryan Barrie said: “This is the first wave of jobs for this fantastic and unique space that will celebrate the best of Scotland’s larder. Alongside the three bars showing off the breadth of Scotland’s brewing and distilling excellence will be eight food stalls from some popular names known for the quality and excellence of their produce.”
The three retail spaces will comprise a “best-in-class” butcher’s, fishmonger’s and craft bottleshop.
Mr Barrie said: “We’re now putting together our senior management team with the recruitment for the wider teams following soon after that. We want our senior management team to inspire the wider team and are looking for individuals who can bring experience and knowledge with the flair and passion required to establish Bonnie & Wild’s Scottish Marketplace as a destination hospitality experience.”
Mr Barrie added: “I’m personally all too aware of the very difficult circumstances that people and businesses within the on-trade have been experiencing these past 12 months. I’m therefore feeling deeply excited that as well as creating jobs, Bonnie & Wild’s Scottish Marketplace will provide a number of Scottish food and beverage businesses the opportunity to be part of the exciting new St James Quarter in Edinburgh.”
