Gluten-free options at Bonnie & Wild:

With eight food stalls, a patisserie, butcher, bottleshop and deli (coming soon) as well as three beautiful bars, we’re confident that there’s something for everyone at Bonnie & Wild. This includes those people who have celiac disease and require a gluten-free diet.

The Gannet, Creel Caught and Rico’s Pasta Bar all offer gluten-free options. For The Gannet, this includes the bulk of their menu, including their oysters, raw and cooked scallops, tartare (with a few adjustments), celeriac taco, sea trout, plaice, lamb breast, bavette, salad, bone marrow mash and even their chips! Please avoid the doughnuts, kimchi and fondant as they do contain gluten.

Similarly, the bulk of Creel Caught’s menu is gluten-free, but in all instances please advise the member of staff who’s taking your order just to be doubly sure.

Rico’s Pasta Bar also offers gluten-free options, which are available upon request.

For vegans, vegetarians and everyone else who prefers plant-based options, Erpingham House has a couple of items on their menu that don’t contain gluten, namely their Superfood Buddha Bowl and their must-try Fsh & Chips (made from banana blossom!), alongside a few sides.

As with all these options you are strongly advised to make your requirement for gluten-free items clear when you make your order. Obviously these foods are prepared with the highest care, but please be mindful that foods containing gluten are used in other menu options within these kitchens.

And of course, if you’re after some of the finest gelato outside Italy (and rivalling much of the gelato inside Italy), Joelato’s gelato and sorbet are gluten-free - just make sure you order a tub rather than a cone!

CHIX, east PIZZAS and Broken Clock Café & Patisserie do not as yet offer GF alternatives, but it is something that they’re looking into.
